About Our Turkeys

Our turkeys are raised at Weber’s Farm in Parkville, MD, especially for you. Our turkeys are raised in an open-air shelter that protects them from weather and natural predators, such as dogs and foxes.  Our turkeys have fresh water available and free-choice feed. 

Our turkeys are fed grains that are raised on local farms.  They get a diet of soybeans, oats and corn.  They are also provided with an all-natural vitamin and mineral supplement.  early on, they are also fed an all-natural feed supplement to provide an early source of protein.  They are also given sodium bicarbonate to help with stomach digestion. 

We do not use hormones on our turkeys.  Antibiotics are only fiven to them for their first week of life to get them off to an early start.  We understand some do not want any antibiotics at all, and we will be experimenting with that for the next batch of turkeys.  Processing begins at Reynolds Farm in Reisterstown just five days before the Holiday.  Our turkeys are fresh water-rinsed throughout the entire process, then packed in ice to guarantee a fresh, moist turkey for your Holiday dinner.
